Greengauge 21 adds new member to its Advisory Panel

Greengauge 21 announces that Richard Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Eurostar, has joined its Advisory Panel.

Greengauge 21 today announced that Richard Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Eurostar, has joined its Advisory Panel.

“Richard brings invaluable experience to our Advisory Panel and we are delighted he is able to join Greengauge 21”, said Jim Steer, Director of Greengauge 21. “As a nation, we need to ensure we learn from the successes of High Speed 1 and as CEO of Eurostar Richard is uniquely placed to help us do that. He has already made clear that he supports the development of further high speed lines for Britain and we look forward to working with Richard on pushing forward their development.”

The Greengauge 21 Advisory Panel, which until now has comprised Chris Green, Richard Bowker, Lord Faulkner and Sir Peter Hall, provides ongoing guidance and advice to the company directors, Jim Steer and Julie Mills.

Richard Brown commented “I firmly believe that the case for building a high speed rail network for Britain is extremely strong. I am therefore very happy to become involved in Greengauge 21 and to add my voice to those across the rail industry calling for the Government to commit to a future high speed rail network.”
